With the William Dunton piece, only two pictures could be found as a reference (see below).  To determine more information about him such as his clothing and hair style, an historian was consulted.  Another question Volz had concerned the type of document Dunton might have in his hand when looking out over the city.  Historial research turned up a survey of the unincorporated town as it was back then (right).
